Why was NILDE software born?
Consultation of bibliographic resources is an essential part of research work in any field of application. Nilde was initially born from the need to create advanced services for finding scientific documents among CNR libraries.
The first software prototype was created by the Bologna CNR Research Area Library as part of the CNR research project BiblioMime.
Since then the service offered by the software has been increasingly successful, allowing the creation and growth of a network among libraries belonging to Italian universities, public research organizations, biomedical research institutions, public or special libraries.
