Compensations and imbalance threshold

Libraries are committed to reciprocity and to a free-of-charge service, as stated in the Nilde regulation. As far as possible, it is advisable to send documents free of charge.

Possible compensations can be requested in case of a strong imbalance between libraries at the end of the year.

The amount of compensation and the number of articles which leads to a strong imbalance must be specify clearly in the conditions of service (in the schedule My service, inside Library details). If this is not clearly stated, libraries cannot reclaim any refund.

IMPORTANT: Remember that the space Imbalance threshold can be modified only during the process of subscription.
