Temporary suspension of the service

When the library needs to suspend Nilde service, even for few days, it is important to clearly state “Service suspension” using the proper function in the section “My Service”, which is located in our library panel: “Welcome Library and modify data”.

During the period of suspension, you will not receive any lending requests and requesting libraries will see the suspension period and avoid forwarding requests that could not be processed.

Libraries that collect request through the user form will not receive any borrowing requests from them. The user who tries to send a new request will receive a notice about the suspension of the service.
You can set a preannouncement period, during which lending libraries will be able to forward their requests, but they will also notice your forthcoming service suspension.
