NILDE releases its internal data through APIs, whose documentation is available at this link.
First version of Nilde 4.0 User Manual: November 2010
Edited by Elisa Buzzetti, Jessica Palmieri e Silvana Mangiaracina, with the collaboration of Diego Malipiero, Alessandro Tugnoli and Silverio Giancristofaro (National Research Council, Bologna Research Area Library).
To use Nilde 5.x efficiently, it is recommended to use Mozilla Firefox, which Nilde supports totally.
Nilde is a software that allows libraries to exchange documents requested by users in a quick and easy way. Moreover, it is a network among libraries and librarians who cooperate and make this service useful and valuable.
Document delivery time is very important for our users. Therefore, requests should be completed as soon as possible, and, in any case, within 3 working days.
To guarantee the proper functioning of the Network, it is essential to update own library catalogues and contact details, to be sure that anyone can contact you without delay.
When the library needs to suspend Nilde service, even for few days, it is important to clearly state “Service suspension” using the proper function in the section “My Service”, which is located in our library panel: “Welcome Library and modify data”.
