Lanciato dai bibliotecari NILDE e non solo l'Appello per diritto di accesso alla conoscenza in stato di emergenza
L’iniziativa si rivolge agli interlocutori editoriali ed istituzionali per chiedere, in questo momento di emergenza, la deroga alle clausole restrittive degli accordi di licenza, al fine di consentire l'erogazione dei servizi bibliotecari da remoto e di favorire l’accesso alla documentazione scientifica, indispensabile non solo per l'aggiornamento dei professionisti medico-ospedalieri impegnati a fronteggiare il Covid-19, ma anche per le attività di ricerca, studio ed insegnamento di altre discipline e per tutte le categorie cittadini.

Launched the Petition for the right to access scientific knowledge in a state of emergency by NILDE librarians and not only.
The initiative appeals to scientific publishers and institutions to urge, in the current state of emergency, a temporary exception to restrictive clauses in license agreements, in order to enable distance library services and make easier the access to scientific knowledge. This is essential to meet the information need of hospital staff, asked to face Covid-19 emergency, but also for research, study and teaching activities in all the disciplines and for a wide range of Italian citizens.
