Per garantire un buon funzionamento del Network è indispensabile aggiornare i cataloghi e i dati anagrafici della vostra Biblioteca, che sono molto importanti per chi ha bisogno di contattarvi.

Per questo motivo si raccomanda di tenere aggiornata l'anagrafica (dati della biblioteca, denominazione, recapiti telefonici ed email, referente del servizio, ...).

Come si fa? E’ semplicissimo! Una volta entrati con le proprie credenziali si va sul bottone con la freccia a sinistra della scritta in alto Benvenuto Biblioteca. Compaiono quindi tre riquadri:
 

Ricordiamoci che la tempistica di fornitura degli articoli è molto importante per i nostri utenti. Evadiamo le richieste nel minor tempo possibile e comunque entro un tempo massimo di 3 giorni lavorativi.

NILDE è un software che permette di scambiare in modo facile e veloce gli articoli richiesti dai nostri utenti, ma è soprattutto una rete di biblioteche e bibliotecari che collaborano e rendono questo servizio utile e prezioso.

La collaborazione è fatta anche da prassi condivise a cui tutti si attengono sottoponendo eventuali modifiche alla comunità.

The SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System, best known as ADS, is a site for bibliographic research aimed at researchers in the astrophysical and physical field.
It is run by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) with the NASA support, and retains three databases for a total of nearly 9 million records: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Physics and arXiv e-prints (Open Access Repository). Its concultation is free.

RefWorks is a web program that allows to create, organize, share personal bibliographic databases, make bibliographies and incluse quotes when editing documents.

Elsevier Admin Tool is a web service that allows librarians to indipendently administer the accounts of the institution they belong to.

The website myCAS provides the key contact/administrator of the SciFinder Scholar database the ability to access, by username and password, all the administrative functions available for the configuration of the database itself.

Thanks to the OpenURL technology, it is possible to link to NILDE the most used bibliographic and citation databases, with a great benefit for both users and librarians.

The licensing contracts for electronic resources subscribed by the libraries are private commercial contracts that define and regulate the rights to use a service (the digital access and the distribution of the digital content) acquired by a particular subject (in this case a public institution).

The license agreements related to the e-resources are binding private commercial agreements between the parties, usually signed between the publisher (named licensor), which holds the copyright rights, and the institution or consortium (named licensee) who subscribes to the resource access service and acquires certain rights.
